work is going well as my team seems to adore me - i love hearing the compliments i need a tip jar - the boss took us out for brews and a baseball game - how sweet!
i need to think of something cute to do for the team for sure
school starts in a month back to the grind = need to get cracking on my proposal!

Sooo here's to a break from work and a decently long entry...

1. Lil Wayne show was good - $ fell from the sky and of course Gym Class was amaze as always - sadly T Pain got injured and couldn't show - boo but it was fun none-the -less

2. Drama w/ roomies- silly small stuff for the post part - I had a good talk w/ one and clarified a lot of stuff and the other is just really over stuff in 2.5 secs - so I think its all fine.. for now

3. Midterm Results - Class 1 - 91%, Class 2 88% and Class 3 in the upper 90s per her "recollection" we officially get the papers back Monday so ideally she didn't confuse me with someone else.. we'll see -

4. So I'm kind of excited because I've been working out 3-4 days a week for a good 1 1/2 hrs and eatting well - I've lost about 9-10 lbs Still a lot to go but considering the hours I work, being in a masters program and managing high B's and A's that's pretty kick ass - so let's hope it continues

5. I miss my friend Jackie

bamboozle left - amaze - drove up with Kinci -
            * Fri got in -checked in- relaxed- got panda express - saw mosters vs. aliens - cute but not hilarious
            * Saturday- Woke up early - breakfast- day of insanity- came home and crashed
- Met Cobra- Gabe remembered me a bit after I jogged his memory - he called me Priyana first and then fixed it Briyanka - then got it righ thahha and he remembered that he met me back in oct which was nice

Later when Kinci and our walking around we see Gabe on a golf cart so I wave hi and he like screams "Hey Priyanka" it was the cutest thing ever

- Met Forever the Sickest Kids - sooo great - Jonathan is such a wierdo he like signes stuff than he looks at me and quickly says " if you were a newspaper you'd be fine print" than looked down and continues to sign for other people - and I'm like what and he ignores- sooo random!!!

- Got signed poster of Get Up Kids by the brothers Rob and Ryan (Bassist and Drummer) which was awesome - it was the poster that was made from when I saw them the Thursday before (which was so chill and amazing)

I saw soo many bands including the ones mentioned above and Fall Out Boy, ATL, and Metro Station

Next Day saw John in the morning - I had missed him so so much!!

Went to venue - saw some random bands - met TBS and then saw The Used, Saosin, Thrice, and TBS

So random when I met Adam - I was like I liked you guys on Degrassi- and he was like oh that brunette from the show is here so that got me even more excited cause I wanted to know who he he was referring to - but he couldnt remember the name - so I asked if he rememberd the character name - lol - either way no luck but then i whispered to him and eddie- I'm 24 and Degrassi is my fav show- don't tell anyone..

So random.. and then we drove home and made it home by 3 am !!

I was burnt or as my brother says toasted- literally a tan w/ a reddish hint

So Tuesday Night was Believer's Never Die - Hey Monday, Cobra, Metro Station, All Time Low, and Fall Out Boy

So show was great - had fun dancing - and than later Kinci wanted an ATL shirt so I went with her - and there was this huge group of people around of course.. Gabe!

So anyways I decide maybe try to say hi to him - no camera or anything for him to sign -but give up when i realize how it was in vain with so many girls pusshing and shoving lol so I back off in hopes someone whose never met him is able to

However, I'm standing and chatting and I guess he leaves to go to the bathroom and (btw he's sooo wasted- eyes glazed wasted which is great that he can do that lol) - and I'm like Gabe you remember me and he's like "No ....Wait!.. Pripripripriyana.!!!!" and I"m like Priyanka but close enough - So he gives me a huge hug and is like How you doing baby - sooo adorable!!! totally made my night :)

He's really a sweet guy to sit there and sign and sign and just be there for his fans you can tell he appreciates them..

2008 and to 2009

Some of my newest purchases :) - I've been meaning to take pics. Also hello :) Life is doing good. I'm debating about going to Bamboozle since one of my best friends is graduating from University of Michigan so making a detour for the weekend to go to New Jersey seems legit.. Depends on line ups for Bamboozle West (which they are annoyingly announcing slowly 1 or 2 bands a day!) ..and Coachella (bday weekend) Yay!! Other than that working and living with the sweet roomies and doing well..

Oh Christmas and NY wrap up! - Christmas was lame I worked everyday except Christmas Day and New Year's Day. I went home late Christmas Eve exhausted got cold pasta and fell asleep..Christmas Day slept - no presents no one even said Merry Christmas.. Earlier that week my crown fell out and my IPOD got soaked! - (IPOD got soaked at an amazing Fall Out Boy show only like 400 people it was amaze!)

So life was not doing well..but brother found out about IPOD and got me a new better one and it suprised me Monday after Christmas and when I was home I got a surprise amaze present from a lambie :)
The next week was way better - had a holiday party- one of my best friends met a college friend and had a great drunk time..I love when friends get along!
Monday - IPOD came - Tues another one of my best firends (Michigan one) came to visit for the week.. we had amaze times with my roomies and my other best friend (the one that came sat night) and everyone got along so fun! We saw Marley and Me watched tons of movies had fun cooking meals (she got me a cook book!) I felt bad she was here and I had to work but my roomies took good care

NYE was great! Hobsons, Drinks, our fav bartendar, conversation and champagne at midnight- 1 of my best NYE's :) 2009 appears to be looking alright better than 2008 haha ..Although 2008 had its highlights - meeting gwen, meeting gabe (3 x) - 28 concerts! - and moving to the city

I just realized I never posted about my amazing roomies.. they are fantastic..they totally understand i'm a little OCD when it comes to being clean and organized... one makes sure the dishes are done everynight..they both help out with cleaning and are really understanding when I'm study..

They also bake me treats!! Communicating with them is great also which is important and $ so far has not been an issues as far as bills and rent..so it's really great...

Just feel very lucky about the whole deal....

Concert updates... last I talked about was Cobra and Jack's I suppose..after that was Mayday (they annouced Obama won during the show since it was election day!) It was my first time at GAMH and I did love it..doesn't compare to Fillmore but still great! ..Copeland...and then Hellogoodbye..eek now that was a show so happy I made it.. and I met Forest!!! My dream of meeting Forest came true.. I got mad him for not doing a BBQ lol..we took a picture but I was mid talking I guess and a bit inibriated so it turned out pretty ridic...

Plans coming up..maybe Fall Out Boy... Nutcracker w/ my roomies..and finals galore haha

Also got my tickets for wicked!

My Cobra night was a bit intense...

So for those of you who don't know I bought a Gwen Hollaback Doll for Gabe..(he sings hollaback boy)...I had a meet and greet for the show.

For those of you who also don't know..Gabe is pretty sick - he has a cyst on his vocal chord and is singing anyway (despite orders from Dr.)

So unfort. I come to find he is not at the meet n greet..so I give the doll w/ special instructions.. to Alex (bassist)..hoping it will make it's way to Gabe..

The meet n greet was fun either way.. and so I decide balcony seating will be best.. I really love the Fillmore so I was excited to be there..

As I'm sitting I'm able to catch Gabe jetting by w/ the corner of my eye!! So I stop him..really quick and talk to him to tell him about the doll and that it's making it's way to him.. and he took a quick pic of us

The show itself was super great..even found out about a new great band..yay for Forever the Sickest Kids!

So to make the night even great...the morning I wake up to an email from GABE WTF!!!! just saying thanks for coming and the gwen doll ahh

Concert Update 1/3

Soo my crazy weekend of concerts! It's been the craziest time for school so that kinda of take away from the fun..but I can sleep in November lol

Weezer- AHH WEEZER- their vocals are so amazing like a. high variance and 2. just impecable - the set was great lots of stuff from the blue album - yay - I'm really into some of their new stuff..Also they are pretty hilarious- I recommend this show to anyone who loves Weezer- acoustically awesome

Gym Class Heroes: FAN-F'ING-TASTIC - They played such a great show- and I got to meet them before hand they were such fun boys totally hilarious- I got to talk to Travie about the Degrassi deal and it was just so great.. the set was also awesome cause they played a bunch of their old stuff which reminded me how much of their stuff I enjoy

Gwen!!!! So Nicole from Adorn hooked Amy and I up- First getting to tell Amy was fantastic cause she was barely waking up and just in shock specially since it was not only being at a LAMB event - but seeing Gwen- and being at her house!!!! - The whole week was papers and figuring out getting there $220 dollar ticket- no problem for this event hahaha- and of course what to wear...haha

Basically it's a preview of spring bags, clothes, watches, and shoes for 40% off so because it was so overwhelming and great here are some highlights:
Guests: there were about 100 or so people and we we all in the backyard, kitchen and living room - Tom and Adrian's Wives (not the boys though), Gabe (vocals on ND), Shirley Manson, Nicole Richie, Sophie Muller...the HL girls just to name of the top of my head and of course the rest of the fam - Gwen's parents and brother, Gavin Zuma and Kingston
Gwen was super sweet I got to talk to her about how to put my top on I was wearing the wisteria wrap tank and it's got this long tail thing to it ..she told me it was just supposed to hang down cause it was more for the runway but i could wrap it whatever way I wanted and it looked cute - she commented sheloved the wisteria print a lot...Also talked to her about how I'm happy to she was inspired by India (I'm Indian) and thanked her for her inviting people over- she said she loved having people over ...her place was really sweet and it was cute to see all the fam pics and very surreal to be there.. I got also talk to her Mom for a while and meet Zuma who is a cutie pie...I got a few pieces from the collectio and had enjoyed some food and drinks...She was wearing the Henna Gown and told me how she got a henna artist to do henna on fabric and they got it replicated. - I got to talk to Shirley Manson for a bit and Sophie Muller- she had the lamb lace shawl and I had to comment on how I loved it -Sophie was cute and said since she got a few years ago she's never wanted to take it off - and I totally agreed if I had one I'd never take it off either...
Also as Shirley told Sophie that I was in her WDYLM video hahaha- so we talked about her videos for a little .I had talked to Shirley earlier while she was ordering shoes- honestly she is really genuine and sweet - every time i've met her i just enjoy meeting her- she mentioned she was going to the studio w/ the band tomorrow so hoping that goes well - can't get enough garbage..also got to meet Nicole Richie and say hi to Harlow-
Take home gift was a 3.4 oz L perfume also they were giving out these (non-lamb - but Gwen was wearing) cute bracelets that wrap around your bracelet from humanityforall.com

plus my amazing watch and soon to come keychain (should arrive today based on tracking)

it's pretty good times despite all the financial problems w/ the rest of the country.

So trying to see if I'm going to break last year's record for Concerts

Here's my list - but before a quick update- working a lot- school started and it's overwhelming I'm commuting about 2 hours and switching back and forth between school I'm up between 4:30 am - 5 am and not home till about 6-9 pm just in time for hours of reading papers...hopefully it's all worth it - atleast the subject matter is intriguing - Adolescent Egocentrism!

gonna keep this short cause work is busy - but wanted to update- on a boy who made an LA trip great.. meeting Chrissy and enjoying fine cuisine and excellent company in a loud crazy place- soo happy to get to meet you Chrissy you are awesome..

I also got to hang out with all my friends down there and just happy to realize that in life I'm lucky that I have such great amazing friends- sucks that they are far away but the distance also helps me know they are amazing..because they adore me for who I am and make a huge effort to spend time with me and always be there for me no matter what...

crazy mother's day- but enjoyed seeing CATS!

hmmm what else- Oh music saves my life always and forever hahah...

Deathcab for Cutie releases tomorrow- Wohoo I already heard 90% of the album and can't wait for it to be on repeat on my ipod..

Next month 2 concerts and my baby brother graduates..

April - Dr and Dentist

- Birthday- Didn't do anything
-Weekends- Dental Office - Still attempting after a lot of painful Saturdays to get my Crown- It didn't fit so next weekend I get to make a new impression so they can try again

- Doctor- after some dr. visits for other ish..I got to go yesterday to finally get my foot taken care of- since it's been F'd up all week since the printer file cabinet incident- I'm on meds and now its finally hopefully going to be a working foot...

Between all the meds for everything I'm over life again for sure! Too bad I can't take an F'in actual vacation- lets hope this quick trip to LA works out.... it's only 1 day off but considering my work schedule for since Jan and all the shit I've been doing and haven't taken a day of since who knows when even when I'm sick....And since I cancelled the last trip

I think its well deserved...Although I for sure know I'll probably have laptop with me all weekend doing some work...cause I can't really completely escape my job...

I've been soo busy lately but wanted to update, got to see 21 w/ Robyn.. we also go to meet up to get our hair conditioned which is great.. I went and saw Bayside and Starting Line which was great- mixed and mingled w/ interesting people
my baby brother surprised me and visited and I saw Jimmy Eat World w/ my oldest brother which was really nice.

I've just worked 2 - 6 day work weeks so I'm kinda of exausted- and this Sat is dental work at 9 am boo!

So update in my life

I'm working crazy hours cause we are moving our two offices to the city- Loving the people in SF so it will be great to be with that 5 days a week.

Director is super stressed so I'm just trying to deal- every so often she sends me emails letting me know she appreciates my hard work- just two more weeks or so and we'll move completely. I just hope all the vendors I confirm with do what they say they'll do- hehe

In other new I'm excited for upcoming shows

I want to say I got something new that's LAMB but I didn't I did get some cute shirts from Anchor Blue and a cute belt- fun and bright for spring- I really need to go through my closet and clean it out (again) it just doesn't make sense to have shirts I don't wear- when I buy so much new stuff- See pictures- for well pictures!

I pre-ordered some stuff for Fall 2008 LAMB I'm excited - now just play the waiting game until it comes in and I have it in my hands

I finally went out- The last time I went out w/ people was Lovemakers show back in early Jan..

Friday I met Suruchi and Nidhi in the city after work- We shopped- I finally got to dress them in F21 clothes so after a whirl win of shopping my brother met up with us-

Than Tyrone came when we met up at Nids place we ordered amazing Thai food got all dressed up and finally went out to a bar- it was a great great time! Drinks, jello shots and dancing! Great mix from Kanye to Gwen to some old school 80s hits and some Bon Jovi! To top it off we left to have amazing crepes! Boo no pictures! I asked a stranger to take a pic of us on her camera and gave her our email- but no email yet lol

I adore getting time w/ Suruchi and Rajiv since they aren't in the area yay

I actually realize that w/ the stress of work and life I love all my friends a whole lots

so this entry is dedicated to my current friends and best friends- my lamb friends, chrissy, robyn, karina and jocelyn, bones, osvy, john, nidhi, suruchi, allison, reed, and jackie

and of course my brothers

Oh also i decided to share my autograph collection- and my updated LAMB pin shadow box and my new tag project

Oh and PS. I have 4 ducks that are dressed like rockstars I want to build a shadow box that looks like a stage for them!
